A social enterprise is based on the principle that it can make money while also benefiting society. A social company will probably employ people from various backgrounds and underprivileged communities. Based on experience and education, a social enterprise is likely to require different employment credentials than a conventional for-profit company. Social Entrepreneurship UK is the national organization for the social enterprise movement in the UK.
